The Columbiana County Mental Health and Recovery Services Board is seeking a provider to implement Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS) in Columbiana County. The Columbiana County Mental Health and Recovery Services Board will meet at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28, at the Board office, 27 Vista Drive, Lisbon.

The Columbiana County Faith-Based Collaborative is hoping to partner with local churches across denominations to bring hope to communities impacted by mental health and substance use disorders.

The primary responsibility of the Columbiana County Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS) consultant is to participate with the Board in efforts to assist in setting and documenting a vision for the MRSS services, determine a payment system for services, identify any roadblocks, develop a communication strategy and a single point of access for those seeking service, establishing the specific data that will be collected and how it will be collected, and identifying the skills, training and support needed for those on the MRSS team.

The Columbiana County Mental Health and Recovery Services Board has received one of eight grant awards from the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OhioMHAS) to expand mobile crisis services for children and families.

The Columbiana County Suicide Prevention Coalition is looking for individuals interested in being part of the coalition, and is also recruiting members for its Local Outreach to Survivors of Suicide (LOSS Team).
