The primary responsibility of the Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Support and Expansion Coordinator is to participate with the Board in efforts to assist, implement, and sustain CIT as a community program. The position is vital to the operation and expansion of the CIT program in Columbiana County. Leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills are essential attributes for a CIT Coordinator. The Coordinator will serve many roles, with an emphasis on examining, reviewing and making recommendations to ensure departmental and community needs are met. The Coordinator will serve as the link between the Columbiana County Mental Health and Recovery Services Board, behavioral health providers, consumers, and law enforcement.
