The East Palestine Resiliency Project is currently seeking applicants for the 2024 East Palestine Resiliency Project Advisory Committee.
The purpose of this committee is to gain insight and advice on needs and potential services to be offered, to plan and monitor services being provided, and to explore additional resiliency opportunities. The Advisory Committee will present feedback to the Project Director for possible implementation at the East Palestine Resiliency Center and in the community.
The East Palestine Resiliency Project is a grant funded by the Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and the Ohio Department of Mental Health & Addiction Services, in partnership with the local Columbiana County Mental Health and Recovery Services Board (CCMHRSB), aimed at helping the community recover and build resiliency following the train derailment disaster last February.
The project team welcomes all individuals interested in being a part of the Advisory Committee to apply. Eligible applicants will be asked to complete an interview, and 6-8 candidates will be selected for the committee. The deadline to apply is January 31st, 2024. Please contact CCMHRSB at (330) 424-0195 to request an application, or print the form here:
