NAMI Columbiana County: A Beacon of Hope and Support
NAMI Columbiana County is a revitalized chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, dedicated to rebuilding after several years of being defunct. Our renewed mission is to improve the lives of individuals and families affected by mental health conditions by providing education, advocacy, support, and public awareness. We aim to ensure that everyone impacted by mental illness knows they are not alone on their journey toward healing.
How NAMI Helps the Community
Support Groups
We are re-establishing compassionate, peer-led support groups where individuals can find understanding, encouragement, and shared experiences from others who have faced similar challenges. These gatherings will offer a safe space for healing and connection.
Advocacy
NAMI Columbiana County is committed to advocating for better mental health policies. We strive to break down barriers and eliminate the stigma associated with mental illness, working tirelessly to ensure that the voices of those affected are heard.
Outreach
As we rebuild, we are planning to actively engage with the community through events, presentations, and partnerships with local organizations. Our goal is to spread awareness and foster a more inclusive environment for all.

Meet Our New Chair
I’m honored to step into the role of Chair for the NAMI Columbiana County Affiliate. I’m from East Palestine and hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to lead and support others in many ways—from my work as a Youth Mental Health First Aid trainer to volunteering and planning activities with the Girl Scouts.
Mental health is a cause that’s close to my heart, and I’m passionate about helping others in our community find the support they need on their own mental health journeys. My personal experiences with mental health have shown me how powerful it is to have access to care and resources, and I’m committed to making sure others have the same opportunities to thrive.
