The mission of the Columbiana County Suicide Prevention Coalition is to promote suicide prevention as a public health issue and to reduce factors that contribute to suicide. The Coalition is dedicated to reducing the incidence of suicide through awareness, education, and support. Coalition members include representatives from local mental health and addiction treatment agencies, the Columbiana County Coroner’s Office, law enforcement, educational services, substance use prevention, crisis services, clergy, community organizations, and individuals with lived experience, including those who have lost loved ones to suicide.
